Arsi University Graduates Specialized Doctors and other Health Professionals in Undergraduate Program

The University cuddles a flamboyant graduation parade on 5thof February / 2022. Higher academic and administrative officials, the university leaders, community representatives, country elders, graduate families and friends connected on the remark of the instance.

On the occasion with the rank of vice president chief executive director of the College of Health Sciences Dr. Dida Batu appreciates the graduates, and he sustains that graduates are not only going to save life and protect people from various forms of infections but also give ethical and quality service to the community.

Congratulating graduates, families and all stakeholders, President of Arsi University, Dr. Duguma Adugna urges the graduates to cope up with the dynamic discipline coupled with the fast growing information technology in the health science and its services. He also expresses that they should serve the public with honesty and in a committed manner while keeping secret of their customers confidential.

Congratulating graduates and families H.E. Dr Bokona Guta Oromia Regional State Vice-head of Health Bureau and guest of honor of the ceremony notes that our country envisioned building strong health professionals that can significantly improve health care coverage and service quality. As you continue to grow, said the Dr.Bokona, keep learning to do something more difficult and to rise to the challenge that the medical degree and the practice of medicine will demand.

He also pointes that health service is very much dependent on professionals and that they would work to the professional oath they made to the public on the graduation.

The University graduates 156 students. Among these 31 in doctors of specializations and the remains in other health science programs. Other than health students the university also graduates students in post graduate programs.  

The graduating students celebrate completion of their education by receiving their academic hoods and reciting the physician’s oath, which reaffirms their commitment to the health profession.

The graduation is colored and makes lively with Tokuma music band which show cultural dances and songs.
